MICHAEL ALEO, OF COUNSEL
Michael Aleo received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts and graduated from the American University Washington College of Law in May 2006 where he received the Public Interest-Public Service Scholarship Award. He graduated cum laude and received honors for his pro bono work. While in law school, Mr. Aleo served as a member of the American University Law Review, interned for United States District Court Judge Gerald Bruce Lee in the Eastern District of Virginia, and worked as a clerk for the law offices of Mooney, Green, Baker & Saindon. Before attending law school, Mr. Aleo worked as a high school and middle school special education instructor and as a researcher for the Service Employee’s International Union. In addition to working with The Bernabei Law Firm, Mr. Aleo is an adjunct professor at American University where he teaches legal writing. Mr. Aleo passed the District of Columbia bar examination in July 2006.
